'Koroglu' is a Turkish folk story which contains a contumacy to oppression of a corrupt overlord during Ottoman Empire. That story explains a Anatolian villager 'Ruşen Ali' who will better known as 'Koroglu' (Son of Blind: this is not a name in Turkish more likely subjective and at that era you can consider that as an insult) uprises to Bolu Beyi which is that overlord. Cause of that uprise is a conflict between Bolu Beyi and Koroglu's father about oppression and corruption. That conflict drives Bolu Beyi to gives order of making Koca Yusuf blind and result of that order also changes Rusen Ali's name to Koroglu. After all that Koroglu decides to revenge his father and become avenger- revolitonary.
