A warm welcome awaits you at Ty Carreg, our home on the outskirts of Llanwrtyd Wells, about mid-way between Llandovery and Builth Wells in beautiful Mid Wales.

Llanwrtyd Wells is the smallest town in Great Britain and sits astride the River Irfon in the picturesque Irfon Valley. It is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with lovely walks and cycle rides right from our doorstep.

Llanwrtyd Wells is the home of many unusual events such as the Man Versus Horse Marathon and the World Bog Snorkelling Championships.

We provide fine beds and fine breakfasts, with fresh fruit, home baked bread, and free range eggs from local hens. Bacon and sausages are all from local sources and vegetarian breakfasts are available.

We have plenty of safe, secure, offroad parking – useful when the town is crowded during events – and we’re just five minutes walk from the centre of the town with its pubs and restaurants – so you’ll have no need to worry about drinking-and-driving.
