And Mary-Kate Olsen offered an insight into her other passion on Thursday, as she competed in the Longines Global Champions Tour of Monaco in France

The American fashion designer, 33, showcased her skills during the international event, while her banker husband Olivier Sarkozy supported her from the sidelines.

The star looked every inch the professional in a white show shirt, which she teamed with a pair of jodhpurs in the same hue and a black leather belt.

Mary-Kate also ensured her safety wasn't at risk as she donned a velvet riding hat, as well as a pair of black leather gloves. 

The It Takes Two star flew over a series of fences with her prize steed, Fatum, before the Monaco-Longines Champions circuit came to an end.

Mary-Kate, who has been riding since she was six, once revealed in her HITS rider profile that she 'first fell in love' with a pony named 4x4.

She said: 'I was six when I first fell in love and it was with a pony named 4x4.

'[Horseriding] allows me to exist in another world and it allows me to practice being accepting, patient, disciplined, compassionate, competitive, and all of those other emotions that are very important to have in your everyday life. Horses teach you a lot about yourself.'

The diminutive designer added: 'One of The Row's first blazers was inspired by one of my first show jumping coats.' 

The Longines Global Champions Tour is an annual showjumping series which comprises of 15 rounds of competition hosted around the world. 

The former actress competed at The American Gold Cup in upstate New York with Fatum in 2016 and 2018.

Mary-Kate is best known for her portrayal of Michelle Tanner in Full House, a role she shared with her twin sister between the ages one and nine.

The siblings have an estimated net worth of around $300million. 

She went on to star in a series of films and television shows with her sister, before the pair turned their eye to fashion design.  

Mary-Kate married Olivier — who has two teenage daughters from a previous marriage — in 2015.
