We employed Basement Homes to carry out the structural build of our large self-designed home with basement, using ICF. We can recommend Basement Homes if you are looking for a well insulated modern home especially if you have a large basement. It is hard to find a builder with ICF experience.Basement Homes also provided skilled people for the brickwork, roof tiling and plastering.

Basement Homes created the basement for our self build home. Andrew was the point of contact throughout the planning and build, He and his team from start to finish were amazing, they accommodated all requirements , completed the project ON TIME, ON BUDGET and to a high standard. I just want to say how fantastic Andrew is at Basement Homes. He completed 3 basements for me which were over 4,000 sq ft in size and he was totally professional throughout the entire build process. Andrew kept me fully up to speed on what was going on and I had no surprises at the end of the project. I would honestly recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a top quality builder. With an initial plan to do a basement project and continue the ICF 'up' to the roof line, we found Andrew @Basementhomes. What a find. In the end we opted for a 'normal' ICF extension as the basement project didn't make financial sense due to the groundworks costs.Andrew is tenacious, accommodating, and fully commits to the project. Once we started, there was no let-up, be it when the weather gives us snow, rain or blistering heat(yes we had all seasons in a short period).If anyone is considering ICF for their extension then i would definitely recommend considering Basementhomes.Side-perk of ICF - the kids could safely help with the lower level construction and loved drawing on the ICF bricks before we screwed the plasterboard on. Whoever strips that boarding off in the future is in for a treat!
