The USNO websites aa.usno.navy.mil, ad.usno.navy.mil, aristarchus.usno.navy.mil, maia.usno.navy.mil, rorf.usno.navy.mil, toshi.usno.navy.mil, and tycho.usno.navy.mil are undergoing modernization efforts. Almanacs and Other Publications

 Annual Astronomical and Navigational Almanacs:

The Astronomical Almanac, The Nautical Almanac, The Air Almanac, Astronomical Phenomena, and The Astronomical Almanac Online provide astronomical data, mainly in tabular form, for use in navigation, surveying, scientific research, litigation, accident reconstruction, and many other activities. Issued annually, the almanacs contain data for one year. These publications are prepared jointly with Her Majesty's Nautical Almanac Office, United Kingdom Hydrographic Office.

U.S. Naval Observatory Special Publications:

Publications of the U.S. Naval Observatory, Astronomical Papers Prepared for the Use of the American Ephemeris, and U.S. Naval Observatory Circulars present technical data, mathematical developments, or observations, and are issued at irregular intervals.

Technical Reports:

Preprints and reprints of selected articles written by USNO astronomers, and related publications by other institutions.
