CEWC NI:
- is a gateway to local & global citizenship in school
- promotes understanding through active participation
- organises all activities on an inter-school, cross-community basis, aiming to develop good community relations in N. Ireland

CEWC NI is an independent organisation dedicated to helping young people understand and confront global issues and challenges through pupil participation in its Programme of Active Global Citizenship Projects. It is a membership organisation catering for young people from all types of post-primary schools & youth groups and applies a variety of resources and methodologies to address all abilities and interests across N. Ireland. The Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child underpin all the activities and topics of the CEWC NI Global Citizenship Programme.
