Description:
"Shifting alliances, security problems along volatile borders, greed for mineral
resources and a complex web of rebel movements are fuelling fears that the rebellion
in Congo could trigger a wider war across Central Africa." -Toronto Globe and Mail, August 22, 1998.
The new government of Congo faces a Tutsi-led rebellion in its eastern regions,
backed by its former ally, tiny but strong Rwanda. Uganda in turn, backs Rwanda.
Congo is not short of allies itself. Militarily powerful Angola is still battling its own rebels,
called UNITA, who are cooperating with the Tutsi and Rwandan forces. Zimbabwe,
resentfull of South Africa's prestige, seeks to assert its own power.
South Africa adopts a statesmanlike approach, but under pressure from other
southern African countries, may intervene if the situation deteriorates too far.
Other nations try to remain neutral. Attacks on them may provoke British or French intervention.
Meanwhile, Hutu death squads continue to operate between Congo and Rwanda. |

|
Description:
This scenario is basically a war between the Bolsheviks (Reds) and
the Whites. The four Entente powers, Britain, France, the United States and
Japan are engaged in the First World War with Germany. They are allied with
the Whites, who support keeping Russia in the war against Germany. Entente
forces are limited, however, and none of the four are recommended for play.
The Germans initially supported the Bolsheviks because of their policy of
withdrawing Russia from the war. This did not prevent the Germans from
attacking Soviet Russia and seizing large territories, however. The Germans
are too strong for a human player and are not recommended for play either. |

|
Description:
"In the year 1999, high above Macross Island in the South Pacific, a phenomenal event occurred in the skies which altered the course of human history."
An alien space craft crash landed on Earth and from it the humans recovering it learned the secrets of robo technology. A city grew around the spacecraft which became the center of the new advanced technology. Ten years later, the alien owners of the spacecraft named the SDF-1 came back looking for their lost prize.
If you are familiar with the TV series Robotech or the books you know that its at this point that the SDF-1 escapes the Zentraedi attack by performing a warp fold and warping outside the orbit of Pluto taking half of Macross Island in the process. But what if the Zentraedi thought capturing Earth was the best step to take in order to rediscover the secrets of protoculture? What if the SDF-1 didnt warp to the fringe of the solar system? What if the world was locked in a struggle for its freedom? That is what this scenario is about.

Description:
An upgrade of the full world version of the World War 2 Scenario! Command new
units and and fight through this huge conflict.
In September of 1939, Nazi Germany invaded Poland starting World War 2. The
civilized world held its breath while Germany ran over Eastern Europe in a
lighting fast blitzkrieg. Meanwhile, Russia, who felt safe because of the
non-agression pact with Germany, invaded Finland and the Baltic States.
In the Pacific, the Empire of Japan, under the military leader Tojo, felt
that its imperalistic ambitions were being thwarted by the Pacific Fleet at
Pearl Harbor. Fleet Admiral Yamato, commanding the Japanese fleet intended
to bomb Pearl Harbor, launched his arsenal on December 7, 1941, the "day
that will live in infamy."
Take control of either the Americans, who have the greatest industrial
output; the British, who control the world's strongest navy and administer
the world's greatest empire; the French, who control an empire stretching from
the Americas, to Europe, to Asia; the Soviets, who perhaps have the greatest
potential for military growth; the Japanese, who have a lot of ships
strategically placed in Asia; and the Germans who have the strongest land
military. |
