Current Opportunities
Position Title: Intern
The Jamestown Foundation offers full or part-time internships in the fall, spring and summer for undergraduates, graduates and recent graduates who are interested in gaining practical experience in foreign policy and international relations. Jamestown offers interns with an interest in specific regions (Middle East, Eurasia or East Asia) the opportunity to be paired with editors and scholars specializing in those regions. The internship will be unpaid and the intern must be eligible to work in the United States.
Interns will primarily assist with editing Jamestown’s publications, conducting research, writing briefs and organizing conferences. From time to time, interns will also be given the opportunity to attend meetings and outside conferences with their respective editors and scholars.
Internship Application Deadlines:
Fall Internship: September 1
Spring Internship: November 1
Summer Internship: April 1

Position Title: Writers
Honorarium paid on a per article basis dependent on word count
Jamestown is seeking writers for its Eurasia Daily Monitor and Terrorism Monitor publications. Writers specializing in Central Asia are needed for occasional or regular contribution to the EDM. Those based overseas are encouraged to inquire.
Terrorism Monitor seeks Arabic speakers to contribute occasionally to this bi-weekly. Submissions in Arabic may be accepted.
