UPDATE: WE WILL HAVE RECORDINGS OF THE FOUR STUDIO SONGS PLAYED FOR THE AUDIENCE SOON; "Everything's Magic", "Sirens", "Secret Crowds", and "Lifeline".
Tonight at AVA's free acoustic show at Macbeth Studios, the band included one new song as part of their set.
Also, after the show, Atom used his iPod to let the audience hear four new tracks off of I-Empire.

The songs i heard were everything's magic, which i felt was had an eighties feel to it and was a great dance song, in fact everyone got up and danced during it. They also played sirens, which was a really good one about a murder. I found it fantastic and it was kinda hard. Also they played secret crowds which had a real boxcar feel to it which was great. And i cant recall the name of the last song, i was too excited, but it had a classic AVA feel to it, with good vocals in my opinion.

Atom has officially left The Offspring to join Angels & Airwaves full time.
The Offspring, who is in the process of finishing another album, will replace Atom with Pete Parada (Saves The Day, Face to Face, Alkaline Trio). |

AVA Plays "Everybody Hurts" Tour... |
|
|
AVA will be playing a (FREE!) acoustic show for the tour "Everybody Tours" (to promote the book "Everybody Hurts", about emo culture) at the Macbeth Studios in California on July 29th.

New I-Empire Details |
|
|
There was an interview with Tom in Kerrang! Magazine this week. He revealed more song titles - Breath, Sirens, Everything's Magic, and Secret Crowds.
He also stated that this album is going to be "stripped down" and "diverse", and more deep and meaningful than We Don't Need To Whisper
The band is also working on two films now, one is the documentary they've been working on for three years, and the other, with a philosophical message, will be a way to hear I-Empire in a movie theater before listening to the album. Each song on I-Empire will have it's own short film, but they'll tie together with the movie.
