Bicycle Advisory Committee

Bicycle Advisory Committee LogoThe Bicycle Advisory Committee meets to consider bicycle transportation projects and policies and to make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors, the Department of Parking and Traffic, and other City and County of San Francisco agencies. Our projects include oversight and facilitation of the five-year Bicycle Plan Update, improved transit access for bicycles, and funding for bicycle improvements to increase road safety.

The Bicycle Advisory Committee is appointed by the Board of Supervisors, and generally meets on the fourth Thursday of each month. For meeting information, agendas and minutes, see Meetings.

For the official definition of the "power and duty" of the Bicycle Advisory Committee, as well as other legal particulars, see Sections 5.130 - 5.132 of the SF Administrative Code
