The scores: Fifth division ‘B’: Amar CC 108 in 18.3 overs (Nandagopal four for 18) bt Chennai Corpn. OA 89 in 20.1 overs (Sudhir six for 26).

Nungambakkam CC 281 for nine in 50 overs (B. Easwar 77, R. Sukumar 40) bt Chatnath RC 153 in 47.3 overs (T. Kapil five for 27).

Companions CC 232 for nine in 50 overs (N. Mahesh 41, Azar Balaji six for 70) bt TCC 111 in 31.2 overs (Sundar four for 38).

Globe CC 131 in 44 overs (Chandra Sekar 52, K. Sathish five for 51, S. Prabhakar four for 41) lost to TUC 132 for two in 32 overs (M. Vijay Anand 63 n.o., T. Balaji 46 n.o.).
