Campaigning for her mother, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton answers lots of questions from potential voters at campaign events but never from reporters.
But in Indianapolis on Tuesday, Clinton brushed aside a question from an individual in the crowd who asked for her take on her mother’s handling of the Monica Lewinsky scandal, WISH-TV reported.
“Wow, you’re the first person actually that’s ever asked me that question in the, I don’t know, 70 college campuses that I’ve now been to and I do not think that’s any of your business,” Clinton responded according to the station.
The crowd at the student union at Butler University applauded, WISH said. That was supposed to be the last question, but Clinton insisted on taking one more question, the report said.
When it was revealed in 1998 that President Bill Clinton had had an affair with Lewinsky, the news set off a protracted drama that led to his impeachment and a failed attempt to remove him from office.

Now that Bill is seen as a liability, we’ve got to return to the ramifications of this question. Because I don’t think she should be given important status in Obama’s cabinet, especially as VP.
Think about it.
How will Hillary be respected during overseas negotiations if Bill is caught back home with his pants down again? If she can’t control her husband, how will she control ANY position that she’s representing?

Does Senator Clinton think it is okay that President Clinton lied to the country? We have the right to ask this question and it is certainly our business to know the answer.
Someone out there please ask her this question as it is unlikely she will campaign in this area again.

My question is …
“Was Monica Lewinsky really hired as a paid prostitute?”
Monica was chosen-hired for her randy handiness and skills in giving BJ’s as well as her willingness to participate in unusual, vulgar and kinky sexual activities on the job - and to talk dirty to to her boss (President Clinton) in the Oval Office during office hours and after hours as well.
Usually when a woman does these type of sexual activities as her paying job, she is defined as a paid hooker. If Monica was paid for her 9-5 sexual services to Bill Clinton, they were both breaking the law, as well as degrading and cheapening the office of the president with their low brow sex - as well as detracting them both from working on issues important to the voters who were paying both their saleries. Usually if a company president (or boss) paid an employee for similar sexual services during office hours, they would both be fired if caught.
Another question, Who was the “pimp” that sent Monica to Bill in the first place? Did he/she provide intern-prostitutes for other politicians in a “Heidi-Feiss” operation?

If and when his wife becomes President, this will no longer be his private business anymore. And since there seems to be scant likelihood that Bill Clinton will change his ways, it is– with all respect to Chelsea’s sensitive feelings– a good idea that we have a national discussion now about whether we as a nation can afford another four years of Bill’s marauding sexual appetite given the ambitious (and admirable) agenda which his wife has determined to fulfill.
One committed supporter of Senator Clinton expressed her private wish to me that Hillary Clinton– humiliated and insulted so many times by a selfish and narcissistic husband– would leave Bill Clinton once and for all. It will probably never happen, but if it did, I’ll bet Senator Clinton’s popularity would surge in the polls. I can tell you one thing: she’d certainly get my currently undecided vote.

I thought this country allowed free speech. The press can beat the hell out of celebrities like Britney and Owen Wilson, and ask them awfully personal questions, but Chelsea can’t answer a question about her scummy Dad? I’d like to ask Hilary about her $120,000 profit on a $1,000 investment in cattle futures, but I’m afraid she’d cry. Can’t wait to have a sensitve wife and daughter in office. The troops will love her as Commander in Chief

Was her response the best that could have been made? Perhaps not. But it’s not fair to compare her performance with the media with that of either Barack OR of her mother. Chelsea is NOT the candidate. Try to remember that, people.

Now Obama is out there, and the same people are saying that his lack of experience/track record are not important, but his character IS.

I think that it was a cheeky question, BUT, instead of an actual answer, she just tried to make the questioner embarassed. As usual, instead of a real answer, we just ahd a bunch of zealous college kids clapping.
If they want to continue to use Chelsea as their connection to the young voting public, she;s going to have to deal with answering some tough questions, not just glad-handing around the country
