Hello, Gnomies! Here are some basics about using images in your posts.
- First, never hotlink images from another site. Always upload them directly to Lockergnome. There are a number of reasons that you never want to hotlink images, so it’s a big no-no.
- Images should never be wider than 350 pixels (250 if falling in the AdSense banner zone toward the beginning of an entry). Otherwise, formatting when sent out via RSS or email newsletter will be thrown off.
- An image should never be the very first thing in an entry unless you have text wrapping around it. Otherwise, it will display oddly on the main Lockergnome page.
