All the boys had birdies in the '2 from 4 to count' competition and finished with a very creditable 83 points - including 44 on the back nine. 86 points won the main competition and they lost the back nine on count back. THE TIMES SPELLING BEE SEMI-FINAL

Over half term, the school's Year 7 spelling team travelled to their national semi-final.

The team performed brilliantly in the first half of the competition, which was a knock-out series of rounds.  We were the last school to have all three of our team spelling.

The second half saw our team playing safe with medium words, taking their score to a mighty 83 in total. Oundle then took the risk of hard words and edged us out.  We are proud that the boys are the best team in Nottinghamshire and second in the entire Midlands.
