Betancourt accepts Rockies’ arbitration offer

Betancourt posted a 1.78 ERA with the Rockies and will return as their top setupman.

    Betancourt was a top priority?

    Top priority?

    You've got to be kidding.

Starting pitching is the problem for the Rockies. Always has been, always will be.

The Rockies aren't going anywhere folks. They certainly are not going to contend for another World Series anytime soon. This team has major holes in it, and those holes were exposed by the Phillies.

The Rockies had their shot in 2007. They blew it. All they had to do was beat the Red Sox 4 times. They couldn't do it. They aren't going to get another chance.

The Rockies of 2010 will be very, very lucky to even be .500.
