The NRW-Forum Düsseldorf shows changing exhibitions that challenge each subject within their cultural context. Exhibitions include themes of photography, media, fashion, communication, mobility or lifestyle.

The Exhibitions

With the exhibitions about Peter Lindbergh, Helmut Newton, Anton Corbijn or Miwa Yanagi and video aesthetics, the NRW-Forum broaches a wide subject matter with further emphasis being placed on the theme of fashion with exhibitions on Alexander McQueen, Manolo Blahnik or Vivienne Westwood.
Exhibitions such as those with Deanna Tempelton with themes from the surfboard scene or with the Commedia del’Arte porcelain figurines from the Nymphenburger Porcelain Manufacturer offer ever new topic areas for a young, broad-minded audience.

The Location

The NRW-Forum is situated between the Rhine and the Hofgarten, the most attractive park in Düsseldorf. The restaurant Caffè offers modern Italian cuisine throughout the opening times of the exhibitions.

The NRW-Forum is easy to reach by taxi from the airport or the central station as well as by public transport.

Parking

There are spaces on the Tonhallenufer opposite the NRW-Forum/Tonhalle. Entrance is via the ramp next to the Rheinterrassen ( approximately 500 metres north of the NRW-Forum).

Car Park also at Ratinger Strasse/corner Heinrich-Heine-Allee and underground at E.on or Victoria Insurance.
