KOCHI: Employees of the Group 4 Securities Guarding Private Limited will take out a march to the security firm's offices at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, and Kozhikode on June 3 at 10 a.m. in protest against the alleged denial of even the minimum wages as provided in the extraordinary gazette issued by the State government. A statement jointly issued by the unions including AITUC, INTUC, CITU, and BMS said that as per the provisions in the gazette security employees were eligible for a minimum hike of Rs. 1,500 in their monthly wages. However, during the negotiations the company management had adopted the stand that it was not prepared to effect a hike of more than 13.5 per cent in the present wages.
