Both NCIS and the Dancing with the Stars results show were adjusted up by one tenth versus Tuesday night’s preliminary numbers. The Glee repeat was also adjusted up 0.1 with adults 18-49 but the Raising Hope repeat adjusted down 0.1.
Last night’s original episode of Running Wilde was also adjusted down 0.1 with adults 18-49 to an anemic 1.1 rating. Next stop Sunday 7pm burnoff once football season is over?
Detroit 1-8-7 was adjusted down by a tenth as well, to a 1.8 adults 18-49 rating.

Wow at Raising Hope repeat! That’s pretty good numbers. Love the show! The latest episode (last week) was the funniest so far! I love Martha’s facial expression especially when the sone Wackadoo was played in the car!
I am starting to wonder if Will Arnett is the new Andy Richter. Arnett has stared in 3 shows Arrested Development, Sit Down Shut Up, and Running Wilde that all have failed same as Richter did.
To be fair only Wilde is centered around his character — which is the biggest mistake the show made… he can’t carry a show — at least not playing this character.
It doesn’t help that it’s just not very funny…
Running Wilde is the biggest TV disappointment of my life.
It doesn’t look good for NOF when a repeat of Glee almost ties it in the demo.
OTH HITS A 2.0 IN WOMEN!!!!
the little train that could.
SEASON HIGH FOR THE GOOD WIFE!!! (i think?)
wish NOF and parenthood ticked up though
hate running wilde barely made it throught the pilot and thats it.
NCIS and NCIS LA are always entertaining to watch.
also not a big raising hope fan. My Name Is Earl was good in its first season but dropped significantly in quality in seasons 234
+ Glee R up 0.1, Life Unexpected down 0.1 in w 18-34…
@Kyle
I do hate to see “Arrested Development” described as an Andy Richter level failure. Sure, it only aired for three barely watched seasons, but it’s like what music critics always say about the Velvet Underground: not many people heard them, but everyone who did started a band. Most non-CBS sitcoms on the air today owe something to “Arrested Development.” (Leaving aside the question of whether that’s a good or bad thing.)
To me, what’s sadder than Will Arnett’s third strike is the possibility that Mitch Hurwitz will only ever make one funny show.
Running Wilde just needed a straight man. Someone to make everything seem not so stupid. A Michael Bluth! Crazy is only funny when there is someone not crazy in the room.
@Nathan I really like Arnett and I also love Arrested Development and like Running Wilde (Sit Down Shut Up was ok, I loved the idea of real background with animated characters but the show wasnt that good) To me the AD fans didnt give Running Wilde time to grow and I believe that Hurwitz needs to pitch his shows to mebe NBC or ABC the realationship between Fox and Hurwitz is currently toxic so he needs to start fresh on a new network

Have to agree. and I could add . .. ‘that the supporting cast is not very good. . oh, hell. ..they’re pretty much terrible (with the possible exception of Puddle)’
Maybe it can be (at least partially) recast and re-tooled by making the Wil Arnett character a litle more believeable.
Then – as Robert suggests in his overview – they may be able to throw a hail Mary on at Sunday night (following football) and hope for a miracle. The premise is ok, but the writers (and actors) have not pulled it off.
Running Wilde has its straight “man” in the daughter, Puddle. Only problem is, she’s not relatable enough to the average viewer. I really enjoy the show and wish it would get better ratings, but I can see why people aren’t watching, as it’s certainly very different from any traditional sitcoms, and it appears they’re trying too hard to setup the jokes.
I don’t think that you can assume NOF had a bad night because it didn’t pick up more numbers during a “Glee” rerun. Many “Glee” viewers might not have watched anything in that time slot, since their appointment viewing was a rerun. NOF did not drop this week, which would signify more repeat viewers, which is a good thing. It’s still pulling above a 2.0 in the 18-49 demo, which is better than shows like Detroit 1-8-7
Yes! The Good Wife’s ratings held up!
Looking forward to next week’s episode, as well as doubled up comedic brilliance of Martha Plimpton. Too bad Hope and TGW don’t air on the same network – I’d love to see Plimpton make another guest appearance on TGW.
@YNPGAL
Actually it did drop. Last week’s episode had a 2.3 rating in the finals.
Why does Life Unexpected go down 0.1 in the women 18-34 in the finals almost every time? I swear it’s like clock work.
Detroit 187 just keeps getting better and better. I can’t wait to learn more about Detective Fitch! This show is awesome!
