Recreation update for North Pine Dam (Tuesday 25 January, 04.00pm)

Lake Samsonvale (North Pine Dam) will re-open to on-water recreation activities on Wednesday 26 January 2011.
 
Seqwater staff have assessed the potential public safety issues at Lake Samsonvale, and the lake will be open to authorised on-water recreation activities from 6am to 6pm each day for members of the relevant clubs and permit holders.
 
Recreation users need to remain vigilant for submerged hazards and debris in the lake – vessels should be operated in the safest possible manner.
 
The recreation areas at Lake Samsonvale are open for visitors, however some barbeques are currently out of order. These barbeques will be fixed as soon as possible.
 
Seqwater staff will be assessing the status of other lakes, and will advise as conditions change.
