Turloch Mooney is Managing Director, Editorial, of SCA Publications, a unit of the Asian supply chain and logistics industry community Supply Chain Asia. Turloch looks after the editorial and production requirements of the company and is one of the founders of Supply Chain Asia magazine. Turloch has been studying the logistics and transportation industries in Asia for close to ten years and has chaired and presented papers at dozens of high-level executive conferences in Asia, the

Turloch has been published in a range of industry and general media newspapers and periodicals, including Lloyd’s List and Lloyd’s List Daily Commercial News; and was
Prior to his position with Lloyd’s publications, he was a radio newscaster and reporter with RTE, the Irish national broadcaster, and Communications Manager for the Junior Minister for Education with the Government of Ireland.
Turloch holds a BA in English, History and Anthropology; a Graduate Diploma in Communications from the National University of Ireland, and a first class honors MA in International Studies with a focus on Asian political and economic systems. Now based in
Turloch is a keen swimmer, runner, hiker and dragon boat racer. In 2002, his four-man team won the gold medal in the Information Technology section of the non-stop 100km Oxfam Hong Kong Trailwalker.
Turloch is an intermediate level Mandarin Chinese speaker and a member of the Hong Kong Foreign Correspondents Club.
