No more Tuesday NBA Finals games helped some cable shows, but not all of them.
Deadliest Catch was up a tenth vs. last week to a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating to lead all cable.
USA’s White Collar was down a tenth from last week’s premiere to a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. Stablemate Covert Affairs was also down a tenth from its premiere, also to a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating.
Tosh.0 was up a tenth of a point vs. last week to a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating.
The premiere of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating.
Many other premieres on cable to note below: Memphis Beat, Hawthorne, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, After The Catch, Jon Benjamin Has A Van and The Nine Lives Of Chloe King.
Those TNT premieres were well down from last summer’s premieres. Memphis Beat’s 3 million viewers were down from last season’s 4.3 million, and Hawthorne’s 2.6 million viewers were down from last summer’s premiere 3.4 million.
MTV’s 16 and Pregnant was down two tenths vs. last week to a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating.
No ratings for Sports Show With Norm MacDonald, was it not on? It could have been out of the top 100. Commenter So Cal notes that Jon Benjamin premiered in its timeslot.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our (non-TravisYanan) source, and several typical TravisYanan featured shows were not on the list. Will add extras that Travis reports later below. I generally filter out repeats, and kids shows, and non-primetime shows.

That’s not good for Hawthorne, Memphis Beat and Chloe.
Ouch! I was hoping Nine Lives would retain PLL better
Another great week for White Collar. Coming off premier week hype and Catch and PLL only chipping away a tenth. This weeks episode better than premier fun-wise.
The Looney Tunes Show is doing well. None of the episodes have dipped below 2 million viewers.
Wow at covert affairs, is loonettunes down or the same?
Deadliest Catch tops in 18-49s but not in total viewers – totally misleading to say it tops the ratings.
WOW nine lives failed!!!! i actually liked the show too!
I think Memphis Beat will rise next week. They came back with the strongest episode of the night.
OUCH at Nine Lives of Chloe King! I expected higher for Pretty Little Liars but still great@
Wowza, Nine Lives did very poorly. ABC advertised the hell out of it, and it’s retention was horrible. It’s sure to fall also, because that pilot was terrible. Switched at Birth did way better, and seems like the keeper so far. I think Pretty Little Liars will grow and hit season highs over the summer.
Covert Affairs is really down compared to last summer (1.5 to 1.8 A18-49).
Covert plunged overall, good thing it has Collar lead in or would likely have sunk.
Expected about that for PLL, people may also take into account that it succesfuly changed nights, retaining it’s entire audience. Expect it to dive bomb in the coming weeks if we don’t get answers soon.
These ratings make Southland look good because it did 0.7 against stronger competition.
@Paul
Are you expecting the big A mystery to be revealed? Because the creator has made no secret that it won’t be happening until towards the end of the series.
@Bill – “Jon Benjamin Has a Van” premiered in its place
@Jenny , not so much A, just things to progress the story, although the premiere was good, though the few episodes before last seasons finale where boring because not much happened. We need to see just how far A will go (maybe kill someone off),
Nice to see White Collar hold up well after its premiere. Two very good episodes thus far. Still think it should be airing at 10, though.
No surprise that Deadliest Catch led the night on cable in the demo. Awful night for the TNT premieres. An almost Conan-like level of bad.
The ratings of Chloe King wasn’t that bad… I think it will rise next week…
good for PLL, not so much for 9 lives. i actually liked it but prhaps this will give MIOBI(which i LOVE) a better chance at renewal? geez wats happening to WC and CA? both great eps tho.
