COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 26. THERE is beginning to become a trend when it comes to SwimmingWorld.TV guests - show up on the Morning Swim Show with Peter Busch, and you wind up doing great things. Cincinnati's Josh Schneider announced himself to the world telling Busch he thought he could win did just that with a surprising triumph in the splash-and-dash.

Schneider swam to a sterling time of 18.93, and an amazing ovation from the fans in attendance. His time beat Jimmy Feigen's short-lived pool record of 18.97 set in prelims. Schneider moved up to 10th all time in the event, ahead of Matt Grevers' 18.95 and behind Alex Coville's 18.87 from 2009. Schneider also became Cincinnati's third NCAA champion – not bad for a guy who wore board shorts to his first college practice at Cincy.

"I feel complete. Complete!" Schneider said after his win. "I can't finish the season any better than that. I can't finish my senior year any better than that. The race was perfect."

Cal's Nathan Adrian finished second in 19.02, while Auburn's Adam Brown picked up third in 19.03. Feigen faded to fourth with a 19.08.

California held the lead with 99 points after the race, while Texas stood second with 92 points. Florida (88), Auburn (75) and Stanford (74) completed the top five.

March 26, 2010 Amazing! this proves that you don't have to go to a big time swimming college to be successful. Even on a team that got their scholarships cut there's now an NCAA champion. Great coaching staff and great program! Good job Josh and Good job Bearcat Swimming.
