"Colors to me are really important"
We will never forget the pictures shot in March 1998 by Peter Lindbergh for Vogue Italia, with the model in the role of Zabriskie Point's female lead. Spanish top model Esther Cañadas’ charm and charisma are definitely still there. What strikes about her, apart obviously from her amazing beauty, is her super-positive attitude and kindness. We meet up with her at the Boscolo Hotel in Milan, she has just arrived from Spain, on the previous day she was in New York and tomorrow she will go to France... Yet she carries her tiredness with extreme grace. Esther tells us how fame came out of the blue and how in a few days she went from not having enough money to pay for her hotel room to signing autographs in the street. In her job she likes to interpret the style of the various designers she works with, she likes to inspire them and getting to know what their thoughts are when creating a dress.
