Jon Arterton '69 M.M., Choral ConductingVocalist Jon Arterton ’69 reports that he continues to live blissfully in Provincetown, Mass., where he conducts his 120-voice community chorus, the Outer Cape Chorale. He also continues to sing, and he often performs with his husband James. Jon came in 5th place in a national competition to collaborate with Yo-Yo Ma, performing “Dona Nobis Pacem.” He recently composed an anti-war composition titled The Old Lie, which can be seen at www.TheOldLie.com. 2009-10-13

 

 

D. Kenneth Clinton ’69 has retired to Colorado, after 35 years of teaching music in Braintree, Hanover, and Middleborough, Mass. He also spent the last 12 years as Director of Music and then Director of Fine Arts in those communities. He currently owns a 35-acre ranch and 15 Arabian horses. Formerly a student of Leonard Bernstein and assistant conductor to Robert Shaw, he now composes commissioned works including a piece for the 9/11 Exhibition at the Aurora History Museum of Aurora, Colorado. 2009-08-17
