football
season ended
yesterday in
a 59-10 loss
to Butler
Community
College in
the Region
VI
Play-offs.
The Conqs
finish the
season 3-3
KJCCC and
3-7 overall.
This season
of Conq
football was
very
productive,
winning
against
Garden City
for the
first time
since 1986
and making
the Region
VI Play-offs
for the
first time
in since
2005.

Basketball
Wins Over
Weekend

Basketball
team went
2-0 this
weekend at
the Seward
County
Classic.
They
defeated
prep school
God's
Academy
74-51 on
Friday and
Sterling JV
91-45 on
Saturday.
The Conqs
improved to
3-0 overall.
They will
play this
Friday and
Saturday at
the
Northeastern
Junior
College
Classic.
The Conqs
will play
Lamar
Community
College and
Northwest
Wyoming.

volleyball
team hoped
the third
time would
be the charm
as they
played
Hutchinson
Tuesday
night for
the First
Round of the
Region VI
Playoffs.
Unfortunately
it wasn't
meant to be
as
Hutchinson
beat the
Lady Conqs
for a third
time this
year 3-0.
The Lady
Conqs lost
the first
two sets,
25-14 and
25-11.
The Lady
Conqs
mounted a
comeback in
the third
set where
they were
down 24-11;
however,
they weren't
able to
prevail as
Hutch won
the set
27-25.
The Lady
Conqs end
the season
7-7 KJCCC
and 17-18
overall.
