2011 CONVENTION: To be Announced

2010 CONVENTION

Our annual party convention was held on Sunday, October 24, at 2330 Highland Ave. in Birmingham, AL 25205. Our guest speaker Doug Craig from LP of Georgia spoke about how to raise our party's profile through media spots and issue campaigns as well as fielding candidates. A silent auction was held during the meet and greet portion of the day and after elections, a 19" LCD High Def. television was raffled. No bylaw changes were proposed so nominations proceeded. The following Officers were elected:

Chair - Mark Bodenhausen
Vice Chair - OPEN (to be filled by Executive Committee as soon as possible)
Treasurer - Gordon Maddox
Secretary - Sara Wires

An Executive Committee meeting followed the convention. Discussion of positions to be filled was discussed. Anna Alldredge was appointed Director of Outreach. Four Regional Representative positions remain unfilled as of yet. Next meeting is scheduled for December 11th at noon at headquarters.
