Affiliate Summit West 2012 (January 8-10, 2012), is going to be the biggest Affiliate Summit ever, with more than 5000 registered visitors expected to pack Caesars Palace Las Vegas hotel & casino. Talking of which, perhaps it is time for us to move from Hilton New York, where we are meeting every August, like we do it in Vegas: every summit a different hotel. Even better, why not going back to Miami…
Affiliate Summit was founded by Missy Ward and Shawn Collins in 2003. Affiliate Summit West 2012 will be the nineteenth Affiliate Summit conference. While in the first Affiliate Summit, back in November 2003, there were only 200 of us attending NYC conference, it grew over time and exactly a years ago, 4627 arrived to Affiliate Summit East (Vegas) 2011.

There are no other hotels in NYC that have the space we need.
We poll attendees after each conference about the cities they prefer and go to those with the most votes. Las Vegas has always won out in the west and NYC has for the past few years. Prior to NYC, we were in Boston, Miami and Orlando.
We have switched up hotels in Las Vegas, based on availability, size, and quality. We were not able to properly fit in the Wynn, which is a reason why we’ve moved on to Caesars Palace.
