i feel sorry for city fans....truly shocking set of kits this year...last years were far, far better...classy, classic and good quality. This set are made up of bizarre templates and look cheap and tacky!

They\'re rocking it today away at Villa. Obviously it didn\'t do \'em too good, they lost 4-2! Not the greatest of kits either...

Orange gets no respect because it\'s one of the less common colors, but I think it looks great!

I certainlly agree with that statement.
In footie land there are several colours nonoe tends to use( or very few anyway),
So orange, browns, creams, some mettalic colours, black as a main colour(allthough recently that of course has changed!) and teals, turquises, purples and some others I have no doubt forgotten-Derby used to be amber brown and blue-now they have white shirts and fluro away kits!.
Whenever a team wears these colours there tends to be a reaction.
Football is in danger of becoming the trinny and suzanne of sport where nonthing must change yet nothing must remain the same.So we would end up with the same looks from all the manufacturers similar templates ( like they did in the 70s\'-before they flogged replica shirts.) year in year out and similar colours.
But of course with Football and most sports being about fitness and such like there probablly will not be too much room for \' frivolity\'. I still think though that Nike should use their ID section to have replica shirts templates and see what colour combinations would be used-choclate brown and lime stripes anyone?

Though when it comes to change kits, the worst one Man City ever had was the silver, navy and neon yellow one in the 00/01 season - looked like they got dressed in the dark!

the hme shirt is crap tho, but them 2 are quality

I feel sorry for City fans. Last season they had three great kits and a great manager. This season three awful kits and a manager that will achieve much less.

IMHO, a green kit with maybe a white right sleeve will look solid for M City.

at least the Le Cog logo is now in line with the Crest, but in Yellow?

Shorts design looks abit unusual tho.

They could have made a yellow kit but after seeing even how their neighbours are going to make a blue away kit despite it being their home kit colour, they have decided to do likewise and make a somewhat similar red/orange kit too.

Yellow instead of orange will suit them better.

Even M.Richards will agree with me.

To be fair, Villa could have resurrected their infamous halved Hummel strips from the late 80s - and still looked good compared to City.

The collar looks like MU\'s, round in the inside, triangular-ish on the outer part.

is it me or the jersey or Dunne that the jersey looks lob-sided, colour-wise and wearing-wise.

wadda hell are those three stars on the crest for? winning the UCL 3 times?

Dunno what LCS are playing at with us. I don\'t like any of City\'s shirts for this season. We had a really good home shirt by them last year, but LCS have gone and provided us with something that the work experience kid has drawn up.

I prefer shirts that have even or symmetrical designs on, rather than random lines and flashes here and there.. LCS should take a look at the the & black away shirt Reebok did for us a few years ago to see how it\'s done.

This orange kit would be ok if they\'d just kept it simple and evened it all up and used the blue and yellow a lot less on the shirt.

Won\'t be buying any of the shirts for this season though, hope for better next time.
