About Us

Welcome to the Wildcat Battalion

Do you want to be a leader in the military? How about in the civilian sector? If so, you have come to the right place. We offer a management position right out of college. Participation in military science classes has a profound impact on any student whether through a single class, the entire military science minor, or earning the Presidential Commission of a U.S. Army Officer.

Army ROTC is one of the only college programs that teaches leadership. This training is invaluable for any career that involves leading, managing and motivating people or fostering teamwork. Young Army Officers are typically responsible for hundreds of Soldiers and millions of dollars in equipment; this kind of management experience can be very attractive for post-Army employers. The program emphasizes problem solving, leadership, self-confidence development, a personal physical fitness ethos, and professional ethics. Military science complements any student's major by broadening his or her hands-on leadership experience as well as providing a valuable academic minor.

Rappelling from ROTC Rock

Students who enroll in military science classes incur no military obligation nor commit themselves to continue taking military science courses (unless they commit to earning a Presidential Commission as a U.S. Army Officer in the Active Army, Army Reserves, or Army National Guard). Students may add, drop, or withdraw from military science courses as in any other academic program.
