Battlefield 3 Armored Kill is a new downloadable content pack for Battlefield 3 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Armored Kill will be released in the Summer of 2012, and will focus on armored warfare, with large, open maps, new vehicles, including new main battle tanks.
Armored Kill features
- Large, open maps, including the biggest map in Battlefield history.
- New vehicles, including new main battle tanks
- Mobile artillery will be featured as well.

Heavy metal was HUGE!!!!!!!!!! any map bigger than that is just mind blowing, hope it has more Air vehicles. (BUT PLEASE NOT THE F-35)

Its a very long map but very “Skinny”

Awesome cant wait for this dlc. El Alamein size maps would be awesome. Not a fan of the name though Armoured Fury would have been a good name again or even Armoured Intervention or something i don’t know Armoured Kill doesnt have that good of “ring” to it.

Cant wait….Atacama Desert, Harvest Day, and Caspian Border are all equal if not bigger then Firestorm, so yea, average. Bring em on baby, time to do some vehicular-slaughtering.

If the ‘biggest map evar’ is like OP Firestorm, then we might as well call it just another overhyped Battlefield map. But if it turns out to be like Caspian then HOLY FUCKIN JIZZ STAIN! I will cream every damn pair of pants I have.
I wanna know more about this artillery they are talking about… and if they arw gonna have new jets to master… and hopefully if this is the largest map they will make it to where there is more than two jets per team…. even if its just two hornets/flanker and one thunderbolt/frogfoot i would be happy. But if they wanna spoil uz maybe four jets per team… and if they could bring back the strike eagle from bf2 that would be sick!!! And even if they could also add new fighters, part of me wants the raptor because its so awesome yet the other half knows how easily dice would nerf it and it wouldnt be the same…. it would be really nice to see if they could cix the damn aa guns from being indestructible and possible work on an AC-130… i know that would be hard to accomplish but any thoughts on this?
The AC-130 thing seemes a bit too extreme, and they will most likely nerf some things on it if it were ever to be in BF3. But the 4 super hornets/super-flanker idea sounds good. Like you said, maybe only just 2 super hornets/super-flankers and 1 thunderbolt/frogfoot would work out, or having new fighter jets like mig’s and F-15/16′s would be a nice touch.
The mobil artillery thing complexes me though. Don’t know if they will be mobil artillery tanks, or artillery trucks like the soviet BM-21. Better yet, maybe SAM sites or rocket batteries that you can transport.

Largest maps in BF3… with 24 players?
Thats going to be a lot of open space. Throw some planes and armor in there and good luck actually finding someone to kill. No one is going to be cap’ing flags in conquest, Is it going to make a difference in rush? TDM Armor battles would be interesting. huge armored formations taking on eachother…
Your fault for buying the console version. PC has 64 player.
I hope the UAV drone will be in the Armored kill dlc so you can fly it at high altitudes and: shoot predator missles at designated targets, use thermal / night vision to spot people, have more advanced stealth capabilities than the helicopters / jets / tanks have when they have stealth / thermal camo equiped, be able to SOFLAM targets at long distances but you can’t lock on to them unless you are a little closer, and have advanced jamming capabilities so hostiles can’t use motion sensors / radars / SOFLAMS to lock on to you / friendly vehicles in a certain area for about 10-15 sec. Of course the drone would have to take off from an aircraft carrier or an airstrip.
