MORGAN-SMITH NOT OFFERED DEAL

Posted on: Tue 19 Jun 2012

The Hatters can confirm that striker Amari Morgan-Smith will not be offered a new contract for next season.

The 23-year-old frontman hit nine goals in an injury-hit campaign last term where he was restricted to just 20 appearances.

After signing in September 2010, Morgan-Smith went onto make 47 appearances for the Hatters and scored 18 goals - including a strike on his debut in a 2-0 victory over Mansfield.

Boss Paul Buckle told lutontown.co.uk: "Since I've been at the club it's been unfortunate that I haven't seen enough game time of Amari.

"It is with regret that I have decided not to offer him a new deal but I wish him all the best and thank him for his efforts during his time with us."
