Canada Revenue Agency tells monthly public transit pass holders: Keep your Pass!
Metro Transit Fares
(Effective July 1, 2009)
Monthly Metro Transit passes, including MetroPass, MetroX, and MetroLink are available beginning on the 20th of each month until the 10th of the next.
For example, February passes will be available for purchase beginning January 20th up until February 10th. Transit tickets continue to be available for purchase throughout the month.

MetroX Fares
The MetroX fare chart in the May 2011 Rider's Guide has been printed incorrectly. Applicable MetroX fares are found below.

Please note that all cash fares are exact change only - Operators do not carry change.
Metro Passes are not intended for uninterrupted round trips.
Transfers:
Transfers are valid for up to 90 minutes after the last timepoint on a route and may be used travelling inbound or outbound on any Metro Transit route or service.
Punch marks are used to specify the issue date, while the tear away indicates the transfers' expiration time.
Passengers must request a transfer upon boarding the bus or ferry when making their initial fare payment.
