    Olympics HUGE! Almost 12 in demo again. Today is big day first USA beat China now with 43-42 medals. And Michael Phelps and Missy Franklin win gold again! Missy Franklin is ONLY 17 years old and already win 3 gold medals! And will go for 4-th gold this Saturday.

    But Saturday will be THE DAY for NBC! Michael Phelps – “the king”, “the greatest one”, “the one”, will be in his last olympics final, his last swimming! Once in our lifetime or just history. Will be amazing moment. The most important moment of this olympics. Will stay for generations.

    Big Brother is holding up well considering.

    One more bonus for Revolution.

    USA men basketball team won 156-73. Let me repeat, 156-73! By 83 pts vs Nigeria. Biggest blowout, most dominant i have ever seen in sports history

  5. o0o0o

    I’m tired of Phelps. Was rooting for Lochte

  6. Petar

    By the way chance USA to beat China in the end is HUGE! Till the end we have Basketball man and women 99.9% GOLD! Voleyball man and women big chance for gold and guess what women football or soccer as you call it. Yes USA women are the best team in european football. Also Serena in final in Tennis. IN doubles also two finals for USA players man and women.

  7. Petar

    @o0o0o

    Yep. I watched it live. It was amazing match! With so many records! Now i read that Nigeria are anger because they say USA try to humiliate them. Wich is crazy. USA almost don’t play in 4-th and Kobe, Lebron and Durant was out too.

  8. o0o0o

    Yeah it is rediculous to think team USA ran up the score. They didn’t play the starters in the 2nd half. Not our fault our Olympic bench still destroyed Nigeria. There is a shot clock at 24 seconds so we had to keep shooting the ball. BTW what Phelps has done in his Olympic career is unbelievable. I didn’t mean to show any disrespect. Just wanted Lochte to shine a little more

  9. Petar

    @o0o0o
    I agree. And laughable part is that they was accused that play too hard. Coach K already respond by the way:

    Coach K irked at accusation of running up the score
    “We didn’t play LeBron [James] and Kobe [Bryant] in the second half, and with Carmelo shooting like that, we benched him,” Krzyzewski said. “We didn’t take any fast breaks in the fourth quarter, and we played all zone. You have to take a shot every 24 seconds, and the shots we took happened to be hit.
    “I take offense to this question because there’s no way in the world that our program in the United States sets out to humiliate anyone.”
    Krzyzewski nodded toward Nigeria coach Ayodele Bakare and decided to speak for him too. “Coach would think it humiliating if we didn’t play hard.”

    PS I get it for Phelps but he is the king! Michael Phelps is TRUE AMERICAN HERO! His record will stay unbeaten hundreds of years ahead. He give a lot of pride for all USA people. Great honour for you. Greatest olympian ever. USA must be so proud with so many great athletes. Including Lebron.

  10. K

    @o0o0o

    I’m tired of these games being set up in a way so the US wins

  11. Free Kick

    Please that USA Basketball team can’t hold a candle to the Dream Team. The competition in basketball outside of a few countries is ridiculous. That’s why the other Olympic sports are way better because there’s actual even competition.

    I was watching Canada and Brazil in women’s basketball earlier this morning now that was competition. Not sure what that crap is with USA basketball.

    @Petar

    Calm down.

    @K

    Are you just trying to get a rise out of people or do you honestly believe the Olympics has been set up so that the USA would win? I’m praying it’s the former. Do you have any evidence or ideas as to how and why this would affect USA’s gameplay? What benefit does the Olympics gain by having USA win more medals than other countries? And for that matter, HOW do they set up these matches so that USA wins? The swimming takes place in one pool. Are you suggesting that the American lane (There is no American lane because a different country is in a different lane each race) is somehow thinner water than the rest of them? Is there a giant fan that is JUST out of camera that propels only the USA swimmers to victory? Did the Olympics give all American swimmers state-of-the-art camouflage flippers to attach to their feet that would go by unnoticed by the viewing public? Did they give only American gymnasts anti-gravity boots that they managed to edit out for the taped shows? Is there some extreme force field that accompanies the American volley ball players that follows wherever they go, even though they rotate sides multiple times a match? I will repeat: Do you actually have ANY ideas or proof to your statement or is just a hunch? Now I’ve never been one to be all “AMERICA IS NUMBER ONE OMG!!!” and it surprises me that I feel so strongly to defend them, but the fact that you would marginalize the efforts of each and every one of those athletes, some of whom have been training for 4 years straight, others their whole entire lives, just because you are a sore loser and think it’s funny how America wins a lot is just bad character. You don’t need half a clue to see how dedicated and technically perfect these athletes have been and they deserved each and every medal they have EARNED. You don’t strike me as a great thinker, so I’m sorry if this argument seems a bit out of your league, but your allegations were both shameful and ignorant.

    @joethehobo

    Sorry, joe, in some of these sports I honestly think there could be something amiss. Take Women’s beach volleyball. Misty May and Kerry Walsh are on the verge of losing a match, then they win (though they are talented), and the laugher that was the Men’s Water Polo, US vs Britain, where the US were at one point up 7-0 and went on to win 12-6. Then women’s and men’s volleyball. Aren’t the US teams the only one with an undefeated record? The women’s volleyball games were so lopsided, it was on the verge of being laughable. They beat one country 3-1, and China, I believe 3-0, one game the Chinese had a nice lead only for the US to go on an 11-2(?) run and eventually win the game. Don’t even get me started on the laugh fest that is US men’s basketball, 156-73? Nigeria did not even show up, and the other teams that the US has faced, have offered very little resistance to them as well.

    A repeat of LA Complex doubled it’s 18-49 compared to a new episode. Seriously what the hell.

    @freekick This has been a hot topic since the Olympics began. The question of who would win between this 2012 USA basketball team vs 1992 dream team. To me its a toss up. While the 92 team had more size in the middle, this 12 team has a big speed advantage. BTW the competition the 92 team faced were even weaker than now. The rest of the world has become much better since then.

  17. truthfullyspeaking-troll

    Let’s see 1992 team had Jordan, Magic, Bird, Barkley, Malone, Robinson, Ewing, Pippen, Drexler, Stockton, Mullen. Oh and college star Christian Laettner. This 2012 team has Kobe, Lebron, Durant, Paul, Williams, Westbrook, Carmelo, Chandler, Harden, Iggy, Love. Oh and college star The unibrow Anthony Davis. Judging by these fosters, the slight edge goes to the 92 team based on more experience at the time of Olympics. But, remember Howard and Wade are not apart of the team because of injuries. If this 12 team had those 2 then I would slightly favor this years team

  18. Melanie

    Glad Big Brother got adjusted up. Should be more interesting as the coaches have now become players.

    Been enjoying the Olympics also. So happy for Gabby Douglas and the entire gymnastics team and kudos to Michael Phelps and all the other swimmers. I also heard about the men’s basketball team blowing out that other team by 83 points, wow!! I heard they made over 25 three pointers or something like that. No set up or fixed game here, Nigeria apparently just stopped playing, lol. I do like the games better when they are closer in score though, makes them more interesting to watch. I think the team that may give them the most trouble is Spain, but I am still hoping USA gets the gold of course.

    @K, what is so wrong with the USA dominating for the most part? To me, absolutely nothing. GO USA!!

  19. John A

    2 Raising Hope repeats beat a Glee repeat. How pathetic

    the laugher that was the Men’s Water Polo, US vs Britain, where the US were at one point up 7-0 and went on to win 12-6

    Yes, clearly that game was rigged for the United States and there’s no possibly way that Great Britain just sucks at water polo. I mean, it’s not like they lost 13-4 to Romania or 21-7 to Serbia. Oh, wait…

    And yes, the U.S. is very dominant in volleyball and basketball. So what? We’re dominant in other events, too. That doesn’t mean the games are rigged.

    Do you think the games are rigged for China? Look at their dominance in diving, badminton, table tennis, etc.
