Ann-Kathrin Koch Photography Photography

I am Ann, a documentary wedding photographer from Hamburg, Germany now based in the West Midlands. I'll be honest - I've had a moment of sudden revelation when I discovered that wedding photography doesn't have to be traditional and posed but can be a truthful recount of the day and the event. Using the same style and approach I'm using for my fine art photography I have found a true passion. There is nothing more rewarding than photographing a couples wedding. I have had a long term love affair with analogue film photography and my Hasselblad medium format film camera. This means that in addition to shooting a wedding efficiently and securely on digital, I am also able to add a unique and authentic fine-art film element to the collection. Only the real thing has the look and timeless feel of film. These exclusive and inimitable images can truly paint a picture rather than just capturing a moment.

Eleta Newby Photography Photography

I live in Shropshire with my husband, three children and Tabitha (my beautiful yellow KitchenAid mixer). I love tea, chocolate, collecting vintage things and of course photography. I like to shoot images that tell a very personal story so my approach is all about empathy with my clients. I like to spend time together before the wedding so I can get to know you better and you can feel relaxed and comfortable with me. I don't want to be an outsider looking in; I want to be an insider, a trusted person that you can be yourselves around. I'm your eyes for the day so what I see and how I see it must connect with you. Every couple and every wedding are unique and that's what I love to show in my images." I have a personal weakness for vintage. Growing up, my parents bought and sold antique and vintage items so our home was always full of interesting objects. I'm interested in stories, I love to know details, why a bride and groom chose a specific venue, what the look they have chosen says about them. I love the fact that vintage items have stories, they have a history. I want my photographs to tell stories too. I want them to feel timeless and classic and still look great in twenty, forty, sixty years time.

Julian Marment Photography Photography

I love weddings. It has given my passion for photography a new spin. I have been a commercial photographer since 1998, photographing all sorts of stuff in the advertising world. Since making the leap into wedding photography, I've found a new and refreshed sense of satisfaction and creative freedom. What I love the most about wedding photography is meeting cool and like-minded people that are equally interested in art and photography. I feel very privileged to share in the excitement of their special day. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my work, both behind the lens and beyond. I pride myself on working long and hard to capture and present the perfect collection of images for all my clients. Photography is a passion and I feel lucky that I get to do this every day of my life

Nick Ray Photography Photography

My background is as a photojournalist. I worked for The Times on assignments all over the world before turning to wedding photography. Therefore my work is true reportage; this means having confidence to document the day as it naturally unfolds, telling the story and capturing the emotion without resorting to cheesy set-ups and without asking you to pose every two minutes. I love weddings, I care about the details - I'll notice the little things that you've spent ages planning. I never forget that it is a privilege to be involved in your day, as well as a huge responsibility, but even though I'm working hard, I'm enjoying myself too!
