OLLY McGilloway's undisguised passion for the rivers, streams, hedgerows and hills of his cherished Faughan Valley, was known at home and abroad.
In his much-loved television programmes, he often wandered further away from the beautiful river valley he grew up around, in the North West, but always he kept returning to the familiar fields of home.
He roamed them as man and boy and each year, this easy-going television nature lover is remembered, at a special Autumn School weekend event, held each October in his memory, close to the banks of the River Faughan, which meanders through some of North Londonderry's most beautiful countryside.
Even now, a few years …
