THE former head coach of a rugby club has been awarded pounds 38,000 after winning his claim for unfair dismissal.
Mike Umaga, aged 41, resigned in November last year after Coventry Rugby Football Club's owners suspended him and demanded the return of his company car.
The former Samoa international, who was capped 35 times by his country, won his claim for breach of contract and constructive unfair dismissal at an employment tribunal hearing in Birmingham yesterday.
