“TOUCH” CONNECTS
WITH A SPECIAL TWO-HOUR SEASON TWO PREMIERE
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8, ON FOX
TOUCH, the critically acclaimed adventure drama series starring Emmy Award winner Kiefer Sutherland (“24”), will launch its anticipated second season with a special action-packed two-hour premiere on Friday, Feb. 8 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
In Season Two of TOUCH, the dramatic action shifts from New York to Los Angeles, where single father MARTIN BOHM (Sutherland) and his gifted son, JAKE (David Mazouz), are on the run. Their critical mission is to help distraught mother LUCY ROBBINS (Maria Bello, “ER”) find her Missing – and equally gifted – daughter AMELIA (newcomer Saxon Sharbino). When it’s discovered that they are all targets of the mysterious and possibly sinister corporation, Aster Corps., the desperate search for Amelia intensifies. Factoring into the unfolding equation is the genius of Aster Corps., CALVIN NORBURG (Lukas Haas, “24”), who’s on the verge of making a career-defining discovery, as well as the extreme religious zealot GUILLERMO ORTIZ (Said Taghmaoui, “G.I. Joe: The Rise of The Cobra”), who stops at nothing to attain his vision. As ominous connections appear, Martin remains determined to uncover a global conspiracy in order to protect his family and save the lives of the innocent.
TOUCH is a production of Chernin Entertainment and Tailwind Productions, in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Tim Kring created the series and wrote the pilot. Kring, Carol Barbee (“Jericho”) Peter Chernin (New Girl, Ben And Kate), Katherine Pope (New Girl, Ben And Kate), Kiefer Sutherland and Suzan Bymel (“The War at Home”) are executive producers. Francis Lawrence (“Water for Elephants”) directed the pilot. “Like” TOUCH on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/TOUCHonTV. Follow the series on Twitter @TOUCHonTV and join the discussion at #touch.
Will this show ever debut?
I would like to see FOX put it with The Mob Doctor on Fridays.
FOX must not how the new episodes turned out if it’s back to Fridays.
Touch wont see a Season 2. Sad but true.
Season 3**
More importantly, Fox has announced it’s burning off the remaining episodes of The Mob Doctor on Saturday and Monday through the holidays.
FOX finally decides to air it. The 2-hour premiere doesn’t bode well.
The first episode was the only one I loved. The rest were too tame. I don’t think I’ll miss this show after its eventual cancellation. Definitely not for adrenaline junkies who adored 24. FOX still owes a 24 movie!!!
Fox bids on Touch, because so many failures. They wanna season 3, this is for sure.
I predict terrifying ratings
sounds like they are burning the season 2 episodes before the season even starts…let’s just air 2 hours of touch on fridays and end this as quickly as possible…sucks, i liked that show.
and this is why FOX is last this season its schedule is all around.

FOX finally decides to air it.
FOX announced a February premiere date more than a month ago…
The 2-hour premiere doesn’t bode well.

Since when are two hour premieres a sign of a burn off?
@POI
and this is why FOX is last this season its schedule is all around.
Nonsense.
@Ultima:
“FOX announced a February premiere date more than a month ago…”
FOX was supposed to air it on SEP 28 when they announced the fall schedule earlier in the year, but they moved it. That was what I was talking about. Combine that with last season’s ratings and the 2-hour premiere, the writing’s on the wall. It may survive like how Fringe did, but I highly doubt it.
@POIFanatic
Renewing a show with poor ratings, moving it to Friday, and pushing it from a fall premiere to a midseason one are indeed all signs that a show is unlikely to get a third season.
A two-hour premiere is not.
The move to the Friday Night Hospice Zone means they are likely going to kill the show after this season.
If Fox ever actually airs any episodes.
FOX should do a remake of the detective show CANNON starring Jorge Garcia from LOST/Alcatraz. And they need have him drive Lincoln Continental Mark III – built like an aircraft carrier. He looks alot like William Conrad – when he was still alive.
His sidekick would be Josh Holloway (Sawyer from LOST).
Touch will never see a season 3
At this point Touch is just a 13 ep burn off waiting to happen, like Community. Fox aparently needs the extra friday for The Following encores.
Touch comes back on my birthday sweet!!!!!!!!!!!
