A Modo Hockey Museum have been discussed for a long time and soon it might be real. In a year or two the dream of presenting a Hall of Fame MoDo Hockey museum in Örnskökdsvik might be true.

A Modo Hockey Museum in Örnsköldsvik is right now being discussed between MoDo Hockey and the Örnsköldsvik Municipality. The plan is to have a MoDo Hockey Hall of Fame Museum in place in a year or two.

MoDo Hockey is the major sports team in Örnsköldsvik. For many years it has been discussed if a museum highlighting the players and the MoDo Hockey spirit could be a reality. Already now some hockey history can be found in Fjällräven Center but the plan is now to extend the collection and make a proper MoDo Hockey Museum.

We can already now assume that the Modo Hockey Museum will highlight hall of fame players like Peter Forsberg, Markus Näslund and Anders Hedberg.

A team from MoDo Hockey and the Örnsköldsvik Municipality has already now started to gather inspiration. After having a pretty good overview of the hockey hall of fame museums in NHL, further inspiration have been gathered from the Premier League.
