Indian director to make biopic on Malala Yousufzai

Indian director Amjad Khan has announced that the next project he will work on will be a biopic on teenage education activist Malala Yousafzai, NDTV reported on Friday.
Khan, of Le Gaya Saddam fame and subject of a fatwa, is currently casting actors and refuses to reveal the name of the child actor who will portray the 15-year-old. “It’s not the right time because so many things are happening at once. We have shortlisted a few names. And I’m sure it will be a courageous effort that will help shed some light on the age old issues facing South Asia,” says Amjad.
Dilating why he chose to base his film on the brave activist, the filmmaker said, “As of today, Malala is the name of a revolution not only in her own country but around the world.”
“She proved that age has nothing to do with courage.”
“I’m writing this film as a tribute to this young girl and not only she but also for the million others who are inspired by her act,” Khan said.
The film is expected to start pre-production shortly and will be shot in Iran, Bhuj and other parts of India.

Bollywood cant let go a chance to malign Pakistan, can it? Wait for the exaggerated movie, portraying Karachi like a region of FATA and Lahore a part of Wazirtistan.. Islamabad? They dont have something as cool as that beautiful city in India… so nothing for it.. Well Malala is a hero, but Anti Pak forces have been using that child as a tool for their agenda.. These blockheads with an IQ of 15 and an EQ of 12, make up a lousy story far removed from reality, adding loads of masala. While they are in the business of storytelling, they forget a little thing called a story.
I wonder if this Amjad Khan knows the spelling of the word biopic, let alone the meaning if it.
They will finally hire very beautiful but absolutely talentless heroines like Aishwarya, Kareena etc to play the lead and finally end up making an ultra-melodramatic, rubbish.
I request Bollywood to spare every real incident. Including RGV’s film on 26/11. They will turn them into horrible pieces of balderdash.

It is surprising that many Pakistanis are averse to accolades received by Malala world-wide for her brave stand against Taliban who are against imparting of education to girls in her region. Most of them comment that many Malalas and other innocent people are getting killed but why Malala is receiving so much attention. What they don’t realise is that there is only one Malala amongst them who stood up against these barbarians and braved the bullets but is still ready to continue her struggle against them. Shame on all including the sympathisers of these cowards, who comment against the brave daughter of their own country.

Please take her to your country because in Pakistan Taliban’s threat shall remain for her and so that she could live peacefully in your country without any threats.There are many girls like Malala who struggle for education but their struggle is silent but visible and the world,media and Pakistani government can’t see it and brutal and cruel tribal areas customs bury their struggles……
