Jackson Hill Main Street Special Improvement District Opens

Today, the Jackson Hill Main Street Management Corporation and Special Improvement District will officially open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 am.

The SID includes Monticello Avenue, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive from Fairmont Avenue to McAdoo Avenue and Communipaw Avenue from Bergen Avenue to Crescent Avenue. Commercial property owners and merchants within this district will be able to form local management associations that have the authority to collect voluntary special assessments from businesses.

The Jackson Hill Main Street SID is the fifth SID in Jersey City.

The ceremony will be held today at 11 am at 99 Monticello Ave., the Jackson Hill Main Street SID’s main office. For more information, call 201-984-0560.
