Anthony was in two seminal productions for the National Youth Theatre.Their  first modern play  Little Malcolm and his Struggle against the Eunochs at the Royal Court with Timothy Dalton and  Barrie Rutter  and the highly successful  Zigger Zagger which transferred to the Strand Theatre with Anthony in the title role for which he was nominated for a Variety Award for most promising newcomer.

Trixie and Baba by John Antrobus, directed by Jane Howell  at the Royal Court.

Lead  in the short musical film Les Bicyclettes de Belsize directed by Doug Hickox.

The title role in Brendan Behan’s The Hostage  with Niall Toibin and Zoe Wanamaker directed by Richard Eyre at the Royal Lyceum Edinburgh.

Richard Cromwell in Cromwell with Richard Harris and Alec Guiness, directed by Ken Hughes.

Prince Hal in Henry IV parts I and II directed by Richard Eyre at the  Royal Lyceum Edinburgh, which also toured Hong Kong and  the Far East

Leading role of Pirrie in  Cornel Wilde’s  No Blade of Grass  with Nigel Davenport.

Sid in the children’s hit series ‘The Double Deckers’.

He formed Senta Productions with some friends and produced another production of Little Malcolm, this time in the title role, directed by John Thaw at the Mercury Theatre, Notting Hill

They then produced H.E Bates’  The Triple Echo with Oliver Reed and Glenda Jackson, directed by Michael Apted.

Several other London theatre productions including  David Halliwell’s A Last Belch for the Great Auk with Susan Tracy, The Launderette with Jane Carr , Eduardo Manet’s The Nuns’ at the Roundhouse and Sloane in Joe Orton’s Entertaining Mr Sloane at the Kings Head Theatre.

Jack in an American drama documentary on Jack the Ripper.

Two  tours  with the London Shakespeare Theatre’s  Macbeth  of Iraq,  Bangladesh, Pakistan, Korea, Japan and Africa with William Gaunt and Michael Elphick

Macbeth playing Macduff directed by Frank Dunlop at the Young Vic Theatre. This production also played in Mexico City and Acapulco, finishing at the Guanahato Theatre Festival.
