Spooning with Marzgurl for the win!

You can kinda grok what Warrior was going for with this; and it makes me shudder because the ellipses overuse are exactly what a newbie writer does when trying to come off poetic. Because the comma, semi-colon or colon just aren’t… hardcore enough. But you can almost feel the mutual frustration- Warrior wanting to teach impressionable fans about his own brand of philosophy, while whomever green-lighted this train wreck just wanted to market on Warrior’s popularity. They couldn’t edit OUT the babble, but knew it wasn’t good; so tried to hide it within the background images. They took him on a wine’em and dine’em which is what suits do- but Warrior wouldn’t sell out his vision.

If Warrior was better at communicating his ideas, this would be deep, if only in a superficially “Matrix as metaphor” way… but instead, we get… well, WARRIOR.

Okay, if what Spoony said was true, then I'm going to start a betting pool on when we'll see Spoony and Linkara perform the ultimate review of WARRIOR (required to be in bold, naturally) #4. But, if neither of them have the comic, then the betting pool will need to become a scavenger game, to search the globe for this comic, so that said ultimate review can occur!

But as for the video, the whole ending was hilarious. Uh, it was a SCIENCE! overload. In a good way. Great work, both to Spoony and Linkara, as well as all the other guest appearances. Great review all round.

    I’ll admit, some of the Channel Awesome people are not particularly funny, but it certainly doesn’t mean that Spoony is in any way “lowering himself” by working with them. Like everybody else, Spoony does good videos and bad videos. All of these people, in their varying degrees of talents are trying to entertain you, and are seriously taking an impressive level of embarrassment for your enjoyment. If it isn’t to your liking, fine, but at least respect the effort.

Hate to be a downer, especially after hearing in the Kickassia commentary how much work went into this, but this is a bit disappointing. Not nearly as funny as last year, primarily because it’s almost the exact same joke, just spread around more. Everyone in the vid was as lively and entertaining as ever, but the material felt recycled. Sorry, but I gotta call it like I see it.

The evil Warrior was just his way of being honest. The Warrior hates you, especially if you are small children. I reference the Bret Hart autobiography, where Bret tells a story about how a young child who's one wish was to spend a day with his hero the Ultimate Warrior before he died of some horrible disease, was ruined because Warrior “didn't have time for him.”

That's some fucked up shit. It's nice Warrior came clean in his comic.

Also I found it funny that the guy who's ass he was about to kick was in an “nWo” t-shirt. You know the WWF had them stick that in there that was when Warrior kicked the guys butt they could claim “one of their wrestlers beat up the competitions fan.” or something to that extent.

Ok I've rambled on long enough. At least my rambling was coherent.

I liked how Benzai was pretty much Master Blaster from Beyond Thunderdome. Like Bearsano is the brains of the operation and uses Benzai to ride around on and do his bidding. For some reason, I would like to see that become a recurring character with more explained about his motivations and backstory, although I know it was a gag for this video, pretty much.
This about as good as the last Warrior review. It did get a little over indulgent at the end but I could live with it. I enjoyed the video quite a bit. Although I can't imagine how you will put the Warrior comic to bed once and for all with the next edition.

Interesting review. I felt it may have been a bit TOO over the top, and therefore not as good as the first, but it was still entertaining. I nearly spit my tea onto the screen when Dr. Hulk Hosano made an appearance with his 24 inch pythons, of SCIENCE! Joe trying to steal the show was also amusing.
