The tracklist was unveiled in a series of fan posts retweeted by Gaga.

In a Twitter post, the 27-year-old said the tracklist was late due to two songs fighting for the twelfth place on the album.

"Tracklist is late because 2 songs are cockfighting for the #12 spot. I'll let u know which cock wins at 9pm tonight :) get out the champagne," Gaga wrote.

A few hours earlier, Gaga unveiled track number 13 as 'Dope' that she co-produced alongside Rick Rubin and describes as "the evolution of a fan song that became a deep confession in the recording studio".

'Aura' is the first track on ARTPOP, coinciding with the Machete Kills film release tomorrow (October 11) in which Gaga stars as La Chameleon.

The Zedd-produced electronic song emerged online in an official lyric video released alongside the album's details.

Gaga also explained that the soundtrack's delay was due to a late decision to remix and remaster the sound.

The 'Applause' chart-topper added a short sentiment: "No matter what I create only 3 artifacts will remain in the vault when I'm gone 1. the music 2. The album cover 3. any contributions of good".

The full ARTPOP tracklist is as follows:

1. Aura
2. Venus
3. G.U.Y.
4. Sexxx Dreams
5. Jewels N' Drugs (ft. T.I., Too $hort, and Twista)
