   I hope that Lifetime will renew Drop Dead Diva for a final season, since the dropping of its ratings (despite the increase of the viewers) is due to the late renewal, and the staff had to arrange the new season by splitting it in two parts; this affected the results, DDD was not in its usual slot.

   Lol, Talking Dead’s first 2 eps got about the same ratings as Breaking Bad’s this season.

   Walking Dead has incredible acting? I’d say good, on average.
   Amazing writing? I’d say…solid, sometimes good.
   Bril character development? Erm…sometimes it can go into great.
   Edge of your seat drama? Well, 1 out of 4 then.

    @Shep, that’s a common typo of mine. The mind says isn’t but the fingers stop at is.

    Unlike Charmed, & Secret Circle, Lifetime isn’t afraid to feature older actresses that can really act.

    @Mary, what you’re not seeing is the overall growth in scripted drama’s that are written like telenovelas. In less than 25 yrs time, Hispanics will represent the majority of people under 50 & in less than 10 yrs time they will be the majority of people under 35. These are mostly bilingual HH’s that grow up on telenovelas. The normal crime & passion stuff they can get on Telemundo & Galavision but these networks have yet to offer such shows in the sci-fi/horror/fantasy genres. So Under The Dome, Arrow, Walking Dead, Asylum, Coven, Sons of Anarchy, Longmire, Justified, etc. offer something they can’t get from their normal spanish language viewing.

    It won’t take long for execs to take notice of that though. I expect either Telemundo or Galavision to offer their own series in these genres within the next 3 yrs & to better compete vs them the 4 major networks will take greater risks there as well.

    This is a PSA: If you aren’t watching The Walking Dead because you think it’s just a “zombie show”… you are missing out! With its thrilling writing and brilliant acting, it is actually more about human nature than zombies. (Fight the Dead. Fear the Living.)

    That, and Rick Grimes is a stud.

    I agree.. I was one of those people that just thought of it a a zombie show and I gave it a chance last week and now I’m addicted about to start the third season… People give it a chance and you’ll see why it’s highest rated!

    Obviously opinions on acting, writing and the like are subjective but I can’t imagine why you would think that the acting in particular on TWD was only good to average. I’d be interested to know what other shows (or other actors) you compare it to to give it such a low estimation.

    And people like to compare everything to Claire Danes because she has won the Emmy for less than stellar acting and a terrible show… She is the Paltrow of tv…. Walking dead and scandal should be getting Emmys!!!
