Back to the European routine

Marc Márquez Hi everyone,

At last, we are back to the European routine but for the last GP of the year. It seems like just yesterday we were just starting out in this class, how time flies!

Having a weekend off has done us a lot of good. The three Grand Prix races in a row in Malaysia, Australia and Japan were hectic; three very intense weekends.

We’ve had time to relax but also to work out. I took advantage of the time to do some physiotherapy to recuperate my neck well, after the fall in Japan. Fortunately, I'm now fine and will travel to Valencia in top form.

Returning to the routine of the European Grand Prix races, we will travel to the circuit on Wednesday, to prepare ourselves for the weekend. As you all know, it is an important...

Strange weekend

Hi everyone,

Another pretty strange weekend… After Malaysia and Australia, we knew that the weather in Motegi was unpredictable, as I said last week, but this time, it was worse than expected.

It was a particularly complicated weekend because my work plan always starts with getting to know the circuit on the MotoGP bike. However, this time, I hardly had any time to do so. What’s more, as some of you will have seen, on Sunday morning, I fell hard and that disrupted our testing plan.

Motegi is the home of Honda and I'm not going to deny that I would have liked to have won in order to dedicate a special victory to them. But given how the weekend went, I think that second place is a very satisfactory result and we have to accept...

Thinking about Motegi

Marc Márquez Hi, this week Japan!

I’ve put the disappointment of Phillip Island behind me, and looking forward to this weekend ahead. This is my first experience at Motegi as a Repsol Honda Team rider but just looking at the schedule ahead, I can tell how special this Grand Prix is for our team.

For example, we went to the HRC Factory and it was a real honour for me. What’s more, we met the robot ASIMO!

In general, it's going to be a hectic week with a very tight schedule but I’m really focused on the Grand Prix already; I’m already thinking about Motegi, 100%.

It’s a stop and go circuit, with very hard braking sections. I wouldn’t say that it’s one of my favourite circuits but we have generally done very well there and that's good....

Change of climate

Hi!

We left Malaysia with a good result and above all, with some good championship points following a complicated Grand Prix. Second was a very satisfactory result and now we’ve arrived in Phillip Island, after a brief stop in Melbourne’s St. Kilda.

Now, we have to focus on the Australian Grand Prix. I like the circuit a lot but the conditions are very different compared to Malaysia. To begin with, the temperature is much colder. What’s more, there are usually very strong winds in Phillip Island, so the weather in general will be one of the aspects that we’ll have to watch closely.

In addition, this year, the tarmac is new, so as soon as we get to the circuit, it’ll be another element we’ll have to analyse. In any case, as I said, we...
