Oriol Rosell leaves Barça B

Central defender, Oriol Rosell (20), has officially left FC Barcelona after having spent six years in its youth teams.

Oriol Rosell will leave the club after a bad year in which he didn’t get much playing time with Barça B. The club and the footballer’s agent came to the decision on Tuesday to end the player’s contract.

The player was unhappy with the number of minutes he was granted, along with his role in the reserve team led by Eusebio.

Last year marked Oriol’s sixth at the club, and his last. He came to the blaugrana club in 2006 from Espanyol during his Cadete days and formed part of the same teams with players like Sergi Roberto and Marc Muniesa.

There is still no official news on where the player is heading now that his journey with Barça is over.
