    Go Kerry!!

  2. Steve

Pretty good episode last night. I will say though, there was a downside to Kerry being on, and was that all the SNL actors looked worse because she was acting circles around them.

  3. Nik

Not surprised, many of us who NEVER watch SNL (because…it’s overrated and not funny) watched just for Kerry, and she killed it (though the first half was better than the latter half). Go Kerry!!

I knew the ratings would be good. I never watched SNL before until last night and Kerry Rocked it!!! I laughed the whole show. Bring her back again!!

  5. Connman

Did anyone notice how Eminem acted around Kerry at the end? He totally dissed her. Maybe not a lot of love (or even like) there? Or maybe that’s just how Marshall rolls…

Kerry did a great job and she was in almost every skit!

Can’t speak to Eminem – I FF’d through his bit – right after Kerry enthusiastically introduced him.

Pretty sure there were Eminem fans tuning in too.

  7. oh come on!!

you ppl are dreaming !!! ratings are solely coz of eminem !!no body cares about kerry!!

  8. FaceForTheDarkCornerOfRadio

Had to switch off, her face is too off-putting; I feel like she’s about to bite everyone.

  9. Quirkydude

Whoever chose the skits last night failed. The material was weak compared to previous weeks.

Pretty great for Kerry ;)Go Scandal!

I didn’t think much of last nights SNL compared to others this year. I didn’t know and still don’t know who she is.

I’m not much of an Eminem fan, but I’d say it was a combination of her and his fans who made the ratings. Not SNL watchers in general.

I tuned out after the news bit. The skits were below par for sure, but I’m sure her fans loved them. And of course Eminem fans got what they came for.

Fantastic episode! I think this new batch of SNL talent shows real promise. Kerry was a great host – I was surprised that she was so funny.

@Quirkydude, I agree with you that the material last night was week. But I agree with Steve that the SNL actors looked worse. In my opinion, Nasim Padrad bombed in the one skit where she kept trusting. Kerry was acting circles around them. She provided laughs even when the writing was weak.

Dang, I missed it. Heading over to YouTube with crossed fingers. She is fabulous and is recently married to a football player with one of the coolest-pronounced names on the planet. “Nam-de AWESOME-wha”: phonetically speaking.

  15. charmedcraft

The combo of Kerry and Eminem was a good idea.

  16. gerry

this was easily the funniest episode of the season, aside possibly from the fey episode.

  17. Scandalicious

Yeah Kerry! She was awesome in this episode. Her acting ability was vastly superior to the rest of the SNL cast. There really isn’t much Kerry can’t do.

I love it when the myopic fanboys always shout that the musical guest is the only reason why SNL gets ratings. Get a grip.

I almost always skip through the musical act; this was no exception. Kerry was awesome. I’ve enjoyed her work in various things. Great to see the “what does the fox say” take they did. Nice to see Kerry not looking like she was about to cry or scream (like on Scandal most of the time). She almost always looks sad on her show.
