Wisla Krakow hire Michal Probierz as new head coach

Wisla Krakow have announced the hiring of 39-year-old coach Michal Probierz as the team's new head coach. Probierz replaces Kazimierz Moskal who was acting as an interim.

Probierz has been a free-agent since terminating his contract with Aris Thessaloniki back on January 5th. He was linked with a move to Lech Poznan but the deal went dead couple of days ago.

This will be Probierz's four club since the beginning of 2011. He left Jagiellonia Bialystok in the summer after being in charge for three years. He took over LKS Lodz in September but left the club two months later. He received an offer from Greek side Aris Thessaloniki, but after another two months, he decided to terminated his contract. And now, Probierz returns to Poland to take over struggling Wisla Krakow.

After signing a 1,5-year contract today, Probierz completed his first training session with Wisla Krakow late in the afternoon and will coach his first match against Lechia Gdansk on Saturday.
