On the table, at the FN range, was an unassuming bitone striker-fired pistol. On closer inspection it became obvious it was not the competition model while still maintaining a longer slide. This is FN’s new standard FNS-9 with a five inch barrel.

The firearm functioned without a problem and the trigger was decent. What really makes this version of the FNS special, is the complete lack of a manual safety. This is what many FN users have been waiting for.
