  • Summary: Season Two continues the story that began in Season One. You are Clementine, a young survivor in a world gone to hell. The dead have risen to feast on the living, and the living cannot be trusted. The story you experience in The Walking Dead Season Two is driven by the choices that you make. Because of that, your story could be very different from someone else’s. If you played Season One and the DLC episode ‘400 Days’, the choices you made there will affect Season Two. Expand

  1. Walking Dead is one of the most powerful stories in the video gaming history. With Season 2, Clem's story only grows stronger, though dark in its roots, in Episode 2, Telltale's game design and storytelling shines through that darkness.

A superior episode, then, and one that bodes well for the rest of the season.

The Walking Dead Season 2 has finally hit its stride for me. I really didn’t enjoy episode 1 too much due to both technical issues and having to set up back-story for many characters. Episode 2 remedies that by fixing all the bugs, putting the player in constant tense situations and having some truly frightening set pieces.

A House Divided is full of violence and choices. This second episode of The Walking Dead: Season two is a well-crafted and emotional journey.

While the season two debut failed to capitalize on the suspenseful tactics Telltale Games was able to integrate in the first season, Episode 2 has fixed that. It’s still a bit shorter than what we’ve grown accustomed to and the zombies feel tacked on rather than an actual story driven threat, but the hour and a half long episode is able to convince us that the drama within the group of survivors is much deeper than first expected.

Clementine is the best this season has to offer so far, and it gets better after every minute of playing. Beside her development, A House Divided places all its devices at the right place and we can only hope the narrative bomb will set off in the upcoming episode.

A slight improvement on the first episode, but still basically just plot set-up for a story that too often feels out of your hands.

Awesome second episode! After a great introduction, the plot develops very well, and the bonds with the characters begin to appear. It has a bit better action than the first one in my opinion, and great surprise. Same length 90-120 minutes aprox. Still short I think, but this is what we should expect from the new Telltale Games. Yes! My favorite character lives. I cried when saw my favorite character and during the slip up at the table I hope the character lives through the whole game maybe if there is a season 3 in the future that person can be a playable character. Some of the voice acting was bad but I'm hooked in the story the cliff hanger made me want the next episode out sooner then this one took. I wish the episode was longer its worth playing! Expand

If you're looking for a comparison with episode 1 then I feel:
Episode 1 started off okay and got good.
Episode 2 started off good and got
    awesome.
A step up from the first episode, and reasonably lengthy.
    Looking forward to episode 3.

Once again the developers at Telltale have taken The Walking Dead Game to another level. The tough choices that need to be made often have you questioning yourself, and whether you care for any of the characters. My one and only criticism of the game is that at times it feels a little short. For me, the episodes need to be just that little more longer (and not with cut scene's). Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Did not care for episode 2. It was essentially 1 long cutscene with very little interaction. No puzzles or problem solving to speak of. I think the hardest thing you had to do was find an ornament for a Xmas tree.

The ending was forced and pointless. It was quite clear that the game is pushing you to surrender, even if you try to stand up for yourself and fight, you'll get a couple of your friends killed and are forced to surrender anyway. I was looking for the option right at the end labelled "give me the damn gun". And now it looks like in the next chapter we're playing nice with our captures. Yeah. Right.

Sorry Telltale. I very much enjoyed Season 1, with it's clever puzzles and difficult choices. Season 2 thus far has been a poor imitation. Hope it improves.
